John Brooks    |    Construction Manager

John joined Fairway in 2024, with 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and construction.  As Fairway’s Construction Manager, he oversees and coordinates tenant buildouts. He also manages landlord construction projects, including plan review, cost estimates and scheduling.  Before joining Fairway, he was the Manager of Tenant Coordination for Bayer Properties, where he managed a team of tenant coordinators for a 23 million square foot retail portfolio.  Prior to that, he was the Director of Construction & Real Estate for American Family Care’s franchise system and a real estate Portfolio Manager and Project Manager for Hibbett Sports.  John graduated from North Carolina State University in 2000 and earned a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014.
