Justin Detwiler    |    Controller

Justin joined the Fairway team in November of 2023. As Controller, he oversees the accounting group and its various processes. This includes month end close out, preparation of financial statements, and all other day to day accounting functions.

Justin began his career in Birmingham doing tax for the public accounting firm RSM (formerly SRHW). Most recently, he managed the property accounting group at a hospital REIT called Medical Properties Trust. Overall, he brings 13 years of accounting experience in tax, banking, and real estate. He is a graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degree. He is an active CPA registered in the state of Alabama.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys playing golf, attending Auburn sporting events, and traveling with his wife and two children.
